Sponsor A Girl Initiative

overview

Love, Bonito launched the Sponsor A Girl initiative as part of their commitment to empowering women and expanding access to education.

Through this campaign, the brand aimed to raise IDR 50 million to fund one year of English and computer classes for 25 female students at Rumah Belajar Bangli under YCAB Foundation.

To bring this mission to life, Love, Bonito collaborated with Setali Indonesia to create a special edition laptop cycling bag crafted with an upcycled approach that reflects both purpose and responsibility.

challenge

Love, Bonito wanted a campaign product that could do more than just generate funds: it needed to resonate emotionally, embody their values, and reinforce the message of supporting young girls’ futures.

The challenge was to design a meaningful, functional item that aligned with their brand aesthetic while maintaining the social purpose at the heart of the initiative. At the same time, the product had to feel special enough to encourage customers to participate throughout the campaign period.

Solution

Love, Bonito and Setali Indonesia co-created a limited-edition laptop cycling bag released exclusively online.

Designed with style, durability, and everyday practicality in mind, the bag served as both a fashion item and a vehicle for impact each purchase directly funding lessons for the girls at Rumah Belajar Bangli.

The product became the anchor of the Sponsor A Girl campaign, offering customers a tangible way to contribute while promoting responsible, purposeful consumption.

The collaboration enabled Love, Bonito to transform a single product into a meaningful fundraising vehicle that supported one full year of English and computer education for 25 young girls at Rumah Belajar Bangli.

Beyond financial impact, the campaign sparked deeper awareness among customers about the importance of girls’ education, demonstrating how thoughtful product design can drive real social change.
